(c) St. Gregory The Great Church
One of the oldest churches in the Philippines, built by the Augustinian Missionaries in 1571. It was also one of the churches that has been rebuilt in many times since it was burned down in 1576, 1606, 1660, and because of the storms, it was reconstructed and bastioned in 1839, 1842, and 1808. Like other churches, this church was used as American headquarters during Filipino-American war in 1912.
