A Movement Called Random Acts of Kindness

How do you feel after watching that special video? Very heart-warming huh!

“We change the world one person at a time by the way we treat each person we meet.”

Treating everyone with kindness.

Isn’t that wonderful?

Think about a time when someone did something kind for you. Were you surprised by the level of someone’s kindness toward you yet you didn’t ask for it or demand? Like someone opened the door for you. Your friend treated you in the cafeteria. Your brother taught you how to play guitar. Your sister gave you a gift. Your parents gave you a hug when you felt like you needed one. There are lots of forms of showing kindness (especially the unexpected kindness). You see… when you look at it, kindness turns up when there’s an action. It only happens when we act. And it’s true that if you never impart kindness to others in some way, you can’t be kind. As well as it can’t just be a day. So we must start somewhere.

Look for ways to return kindness. An ultimate example is Jesus’. So many ways He demonstrate kindness to us. Let ourselves be an instrument of His kindness to others today. Let us take the initiative and get involved.

Remember God’s promises:

  • Romans 12:20 - He will bless your efforts at kindness.
  • Galatians 6:10 - He will reward you for your kindness.

“Do what is right and true. Be kind and merciful to each other.” - Zachariah 7:9

P.S.  Pray. Donate. Volunteer. HELP CDO. God bless! :)
