Bloggers’ Lunch-Tour
December 15, 2011
3M Philippines
Last December 09, I got an email from BrandSpeakAsia. It was an invitation to a Lunch-Tour on December 15, 2011, at the 3M Customer Technical Center (CTC). Also, 3M Philippines will share tips on how to Start 2012 Right: Organize on a Budget and Express Yourself Uniquely with Post-it® and Scotch® Brands.

The event started with the discussion by Ms. Kamibayashi. She gave talk concerning 3M’s values, history, businesses, and 3M Philippines.

Ms. Rika Kamibayashi, Training & Communications Manager (Corporate Marketing & Public Affairs) - 3M Philippines

After the discussion, we had a little get-to-know-you icebreaker. We were asked to write down our New Year’s Resolution on Post-It. “I Will Start 2012 Right By..” Next, Ms. Casapao took the floor to introduce the Scotch Reusable Strips.

Scotch Restickable Strips are pre-cut strips of clear, reusable and removable adhesive for lightweight mounting. Hang photos, posters, artwork or other lightweight objects on walls, refrigerators, windows, and most other flat surfaces. Strips can be cut.

Before we had lunch, we had games. De-clutter your study corner creatively.

2nd Place for Group 2. Before. After. :))
Next game was to identify the real Post-It.

The winners. It was close but no cigar! Lol
We had also the raffle draw in which the five winners received three gifts packs for their readers. You know what it is! I won!
After our lunch, we proceeded to the tour.

Consumer and Office/Display and Graphics/Electro and Communications/Health Care/Industrial and Transportation/Safety, Security and Protection Service. See that! These are all 3M products! Surprising, isn’t it?

Nexcare Bandages. They have cute line of adhesive bandages, too!

3M captures the spark of new ideas and transforms them into thousands of ingenious products. The company’s culture of creative collaboration inspires a never-ending stream of powerful technologies that make life better. 3M is the innovation company that never stops inventing.
IMHO, I was really surprised when I found out that the Scotch tape is a brand name. Parang Colgate (Ale, pabili nga po ng Colgate yung Close-Up!) Chos! Or maybe, I just forgot about it. Oh well, there were few products of 3M that I barely recognized as theirs. Glad I attended this event! Thank you so much, 3M Philippines! Make difference and sustainable progress possible? Go for the gold! Thank you, too, BrandSpeakAsia! It was a fun learning experience! :)
