“There is fear and then there is courage. When you feel fear, have the courage to acknowledge it and it will begin to lose its power. It is only when you pretend it isn’t there, that it grows.”—God Wants You To Know
“You are connected to all living things. You may think you are separate and all alone, but the truth is there is so much interconnection. When you feel alone, allow time for connection and communion. If there are no people around for good company, then be with nature: a dog or cat or tree or ocean. Good company comes in many forms.”—God Wants You To Know
“It’s important to listen to your gut. Reason has its place in this world, certainly. But your gut is that subconscious part of yourself that knows exactly what is right for you. And oftentimes God speaks to you through that subtle but true gut feeling.”—God Wants You To Know
“It is important to care for the temple of your body. Even more important is your spirit, which is the light within that temple. A beautiful temple may attract others, but it is the light that will touch hearts.”—God Wants You To Know
How do you feel after watching that special video? Very heart-warming huh!
"We change the world one person at a time by the way we treat each person we meet."
Treating everyone with kindness.
Isn’t that wonderful?
Think about a time when someone did something kind for you. Were you surprised by the level of someone’s kindness toward you yet you didn’t ask for it or demand? Like someone opened the door for you. Your friend treated you in the cafeteria. Your brother taught you how to play guitar. Your sister gave you a gift. Your parents gave you a hug when you felt like you needed one. There are lots of forms of showing kindness (especially the unexpected kindness). You see… when you look at it, kindness turns up when there’s an action. It only happens when we act. And it’s true that if you never impart kindness to others in some way, you can’t be kind. As well as it can’t just be a day. So we must start somewhere.
Look for ways to return kindness. An ultimate example is Jesus’. So many ways He demonstrate kindness to us. Let ourselves be an instrument of His kindness to others today. Let us take the initiative and get involved.
Remember God’s promises:
Romans 12:20 - He will bless your efforts at kindness.
Galatians 6:10 - He will reward you for your kindness.
"Do what is right and true. Be kind and merciful to each other." - Zachariah 7:9

“You are not meant for crawling, so don’t. You have wings. Learn to use them and fly. You were born with potential. You were born with goodness and trust. You were born with greatness. You were born with wings.”—God Wants You To Know

“Sometimes it’s ok if the only thing you did today was breath. A day well lived does not have to include anything more than celebrating this Divine world through simple breathing.”—God Wants You To Know
“It’s good to express your feelings. Don’t hold your feelings in, suppressed they will just poison your well being. Have the courage to express them, in intelligent ways of course.”—God Wants You To Know
Dislike other people? Too much comparison? Roll eyes with repulsion? Blame for misery and despair?
Here are the few ways to cope with jealousy:
Be self-controlled enough to avoid jealousy.
Pray for peace about who you are and what you have.
Discover joy in your life.
Show kindness, goodness, and gentleness to others.
Got these from the book I was reading few days ago. If you will simplify these ways, you can find it in Galatians 5, where the fruit of the Spirit listed. Remember the fruit of Spirit?
We all know that jealousy usually takes the place of something that we are not willing to accept about ourselves. Allowing it in our lives, we’re just shunning our insecurities—nothing more. We’re just getting rid of our personal problems in the form of jealousy. But you know what? Applying these virtues (above) and through God’s help, we can resist jealousy in our everyday lives. We can survive without it. Keep in mind: Jealousy is not worth a dime.
“Dilemmas cannot be solved. Sometimes you may find yourself in a dilemma where you are ”damned if you do, and damned if you don’t.” You cannot solve such dilemmas by choosing a side because both paths lead to suffering. The only way out is to transform your perspective to a place where the dilemma no longer exists. This is possible.”—God Wants You To Know
“Encouragement is important. Everybody needs to be encouraged, including you. Keep doing the best you can, you’ve got what it takes and you are going to make it. Remember to encourage others to pursue their own dreams. Build each other up, encouragement is important.”—God Wants You To Know
“The most important decisions are not to be made with the mind; they are to be made with the heart. So when you have an important decision to make, check in with how you feel, not how you think.”—God Wants You To Know
“You are created just right. Each kind of bird has a uniquely-shaped beak, wings, and even feather shape so that everything about it is perfect for the lifestyle it lives. The various wing shapes allow them to dart after a bug, soar miles above a field, or fly for months over the ocean. Just as God cares enough to give each bird exactly what it needs, so you have been given the exact talents and personality to live the life God has given you.”—God Wants You To Know
“The truth is, everyone is going to hurt you. You just got to find the ones worth suffering for. Look around, look closely at the people in your life right now, and ask yourself about each one: ‘Is s/he worth suffering for?’”—God Wants You To Know
“Love is the opposite of logic. Logic is argumentative, aggressive upon the mind, splits the world into right and wrong, us and them. Love is generative, compassionate, embracing all creation. Logic pays attention to what is being said. Love pays attention to how things are said. Logic leads to debate. Love leads to communion. Practice love to be closer to God.”—God Wants You To Know
“No matter what happens to you, you always have freedom of mind. That means you always have freedom to choose the path of virtue over the path of suffering, to choose being one with God over being alone.”—God Wants You To Know
Indeed! God moves instantly.. unexpectedly.. mysteriously!
God’s really amazing! The One and Only Great Provider!
I almost got myself worried for being skint yesterday. But, no, God didn’t let me get into that situation. He reminded me that I am His child. I don’t have to worry. Then He reminded me of His words… “ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7)” So I focused on Him and believed that He will provide. He will. He will. He will. I held on to His promise. Last night, when I attended ABS-CBN’s media/press Christmas party.. didn’t I know that they were giving compliments and or blessings. There! God made His way! I was amazed! One funny thing was, I was just asking for a little blessing.. And wow! God’s really more than enough! When I got the blessings, I was thanking God in my mind repeatedly. Yes, I was controlling myself last night. ‘Cause maybe, if I didn’t, I’m one of today’s headlines! Chos.
Still I’m overjoyed! Thank You.. thank You.. thank You so much, Lord! Aside for myself, I already have a gift for mama! Seven hours to go… Happy Birthday, Ma! Mwuah mwuah! Tsup Tsup! :)) And one thing I’m thankful, too, is that I’m blessed at raffle draws. *wink* Hahaha!
